Over the last few years, I’ve had the honor of working with Sirena a handful of times, both behind the camera and in community. So when Sitena reached out to me about updating her visual to pair with her rebrand, I was over the moon to have her in front of my camera again! The Aneris Collective’s brand session in downtown Charleston was so full of fun, and she crafted the best team for the day!

Sirena knew the importance of choosing a location for her brand session, so she booked the most adorable Airbnb in downtown Charleston. When I arrived, the place was all set and ready to go, one of the many perks of working with a fellow brand photographer.

We started with her showing off some of her favorite tools of the trade! We also made sure to utilize as much of the space as possible throughout the day to give her lots of variety and options for her upcoming website overhaul.

She also brought props from some of her favorite local Charleston vendors and friends. This is one of the things I love most about Sirena. She is ALWAYS the first to celebrate those in her circle, and I love that she’s been able to work with so many local businesses to help them elevate their brand visuals.

Sirena really walks the walk when it comes to practicing the education and values she shares with her clients. It was such an honor to have her in front of my camera for the day, and I loved helping her bring her vision to life.

Choosing The Right Team

During our planning meeting, we discussed her including other people in her session. While this isn’t always a fit for every client, we loved the idea of adding a focus on how she works with her clients and how much community influences her work. She brought together the most fun and talented bunch for this session, and it was a joy working with every one of them!
